The Investment business line consists of 180+ investment professionals divided over 13 investment teams and 4 centralized functions: analytics, trading desk, business support, and portfolio implementation.
The multi-investment team structure allows the Investments business to benefit from the advantages of scale of a larger company with the benefits of small, flexible and alpha-focused teams. Teams operate as if they are small companies, but at the same time have access to scalable support in terms of execution, infrastructure, risk management and research and also have the oversight of the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Management Team. Centralizing certain functions allows the Investments business to gain in efficiencies and sharing of knowledge.
